Singer-songwriter Katie Tuck started her musical journey at the young age of twelve. By the age of fifteen, Tuck had already recorded in the notorious “Sound Kitchen” of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010-influenced by her Tennessee roots and the love it gave her for pop, country and rock-Tuck’s first single, a powerful country ballad called “I Wanna Be That Girl,” caught the attention of many well-respected music insiders including Grammy award winning songwriter Liz Rose. Rose is best known for her work with then country superstar Taylor Swift (“White Horse,” “Teardrops on My Guitar,” “You Belong With Me”). Katie’s original song, “You,” was the result of a co-writing union with Liz Rose.
Katie is currently recording her first alternative pop EP, at Blackbird Studios (Taylor Swift, James Bay, Johnny Cash, Ingrid Michaelson, Alicia Keys, Beck, etc.) under the direction of her manager, Dianne Copeland (Copeland Entertainment). Katie’s rich and powerful voice captivates listeners, and her lyrics give insight into a young woman who sees through eyes older than her 21 years. She will be releasing her first single Winter 2018. In the meantime, she is playing shows around Los Angeles, CA at venues like The Hotel Cafe.
